Frequently asked questions

  • How much does a QR code cost?

Designing and previewing any QR code is free — no signup needed. To download your code and put it live, you start a 7-day trial for $1.95, which converts to a QROG subscription ($49.90/mo or $500/yr) unless you cancel before the trial ends. Cancel anytime from Dashboard → Billing.

  • Do my QR codes expire?

Every code routes through a short URL, so the printed QR never changes. Your codes stay live and keep tracking scans for as long as your subscription is active. If it lapses, scans pause — nothing is deleted, and re-subscribing brings the exact same codes back to life.

  • Can I edit a QR code after I print it?

Yes, if it's a dynamic or hosted QR. The printed code points to a short URL we control; you can change where it goes, replace the file, or pause scans without reprinting.

  • What's the resolution of the QR code I download?

We give you both PNG (raster, configurable size) and SVG (vector, scales infinitely). SVG is best for print.

  • What data do you collect when someone scans a dynamic QR?

Scan time, country (via IP geolocation), and user agent. No personal data of the scanner. You see counts and the list on your dashboard.
